This course is a unique opportunity for a panel of experts in subspecialty areas within gastroenterology to present the most important new information presented at Digestive Disease Week and within the past year. This course is a valuable experience for those who have attended Digestive Disease Week in addition to those who have not.  We are pleased to bring the 12th Annual Yale Digestive Disease Week Review to the regional gastroenterology community.

This course will enable participants to:

  • Describe recent developments in gastroenterology and hepatology
  • Discuss controversial and novel findings as presented at DDW
  • Translate information learned from presentations to their patient's bedside
  • Determine the most effective multidisciplinary approaches to the management of metabolic disease
  • Discuss new therapies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Review the current treatment of Hepatitis C
  • Identify optimal therapy for gastrointestinal bleeding disorders
