This course is a valuable experience for those who have attended Digestive Disease Week in addition to those who have not. This course will enable participants to:
- Describe recent developments in gastroenterology and hepatology
- Discuss controversial and novel findings as presented at DDW
- Translate information learned from presentations to their patient's bedside
- Determine the most effective multidisciplinary approaches to the management of metabolic disease
- Discuss new therapies for Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Review the current treatment of Hepatitis C
- Identify optimal therapy for gastrointestinal bleeding disorders
